OSI Geospatial Hosts First-Ever Super-User Conference

Welcomes 35 Prestigious International Delegates from Eight Navies and Military Branches, February 19-23 in North Vancouver

Vancouver, Canada
— OSI Geospatial Inc. (TSX: OSI; OTCBB: OSIIF) announced today that its first-ever Super-User Conference will begin this evening. Thirty five global Electronic Chart Precise Integrated Navigation System (ECPINS®) military users from eight of the world’s navies and military branches are gathered in North Vancouver to share their experiences and user capabilities and to collaborate with OSI on how to best develop and evolve this product.

“The participation of this esteemed group in our first Super-User Conference is a testament to the world-wide success of our ECPINS product, said Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO. “This event provides a significant marketing opportunity for our company and it will provide a forum for our customers to discuss and provide direction on how we can meet their current and future operational requirements.”

Representatives include “visionaries” from the military user community, requirements personnel, navigators, data producers and program staff from Australia, Canada, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The conference offers attendees the opportunity to:
• interact with the OSI Geospatial team and other ECPINS customers
• discuss ideas for future development of ECPINS and other OSI products
• share experiences about the implementation and use of ECPINS • discover OSI’s vision for the future of ECPINS and other products

Mr. Kirkpatrick went on to say, “We’ve created a unique opportunity for delegates to work in a collaborative environment where they can share their experiences in using our product and help guide the evolution of ECPINS from the operational perspective.”

Attendance at the Super-User Conference is restricted to NATO, AUSCANUKUS Navies and OSI Geospatial personnel.

ECPINS is OSI’s line of electronic chart navigation systems for commercial and military customers. ECPINS helps to reduce the risk of navigation-related incidents by giving bridge crews a precise, real-time display of their position, course and speed, against a background of fixed obstacles and other navigational hazards. It is an International Maritime Organization (IMO) approved Electronic Chart Display Integrated Systems (ECDIS) with installations worldwide.

OSI’s success in the military market is mainly credited to its ECPINS® full compliance with NATO’s Warship ECDIS Standards. It is the most advanced IMO ECDIS with full military functionality available today and is the standard by which military ECDIS is judged. As a result, ECPINS® has been selected as the fleet standard for the Royal Australian Navy, Canadian Navy, Royal British Navy, Royal New Zealand, Royal Danish Navy and Portuguese Navy. It is also used by the United States Navy and Royal Norwegian Navy.
